On October 30th, in partnership with Carlton Trail College, Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre and The Humboldt Regional Newcomers Centre, we held our annual Newcomer Winter Preparedness Clinic and clothing shop.

Attendees were provided education from Humboldt Fire Department, Humboldt & District Ambulance – EMS & Brenda Shrader on how to prepare for a harsh Saskatchewan winter, then were able to take home any winter clothing items that they needed that were gathered through our clothing drive. Each household was also provided a Carbon Monoxide Detector, compliments of SaskEnergy.

Special thank you to everyone who attended, presented, organized and donated to our clothing drive! The event could also not be possible without our sponsors: Saskatchewan Blue Cross, Nutrien, BHP and SaskEnergy. Thank you all so much for your commitment to safety in our region!
