On June 5th we travelled down the road to Muenster for a bike rodeo and safety day. Unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate so we were not able to have the fun bike obstacle courses we had planned, but we still had fun indoors!
The grade 1-4 students were educated on rail safety with CN Rail, the importance of helmet use and fitting of helmets with the Acquired Brain Injury Education & Prevention Team, bike safety, safe driving practices for adults and colouring safety messages with Humboldt RCMP.
Special thank you to SGI, the Village of Muenster, BHP, Nutrien Lanigan and SaskWater for sponsoring the event, our presenters from CN, ABI and RCMP, Canadian Tire Humboldt for donating helmets for those needing replacing and to the very attentive students for participating, you were a great bunch!
